Creating a Brand and Website for The Inner Chaos Club, an ADHD Coaching Business

The Inner Chaos Club is an ADHD coaching business founded by Dhruti Patel, supporting neurodivergent adults who are trying to understand how they work and make everyday life feel more manageable. I created the foundation brand identity and website, developing a distinctive visual direction and building the site around Dhruti, her coaching offers and the information somebody may need before deciding whether working with her feels right.

The Brief

Dhruti needed a recognisable brand and a proper home for The Inner Chaos Club online, with enough personality to reflect the name without making ADHD and neurodivergence feel flippant. The business deals with experiences such as overwhelm, executive functioning, identity and the frustration of trying to meet expectations that do not always fit the way somebody naturally works, so the brand needed to feel approachable while still giving the coaching credibility.

This was one of my Foundation Brand and Website projects, so it did not include the deeper standalone strategy work that sits within my services now. I was still making strategic decisions throughout the project though, including how the brand should feel, what somebody needed to understand when they arrived, how Dhruti's different offers should be presented and where trust and clear next steps needed to appear across the website.

Dhruti herself also needed to be visible throughout the business, because her personality, lived experience and approach are an important part of choosing a coach. The website therefore needed to introduce the person behind The Inner Chaos Club without making the entire brand dependent on a single About section.

The Approach

I started by creating a foundation identity that could hold the personality already present in The Inner Chaos Club name, then carried that visual direction into the website so the two parts of the project felt connected. From there, I thought about how somebody experiencing overwhelm might actually move through the site, what they would need to see first and how much information they might want before feeling comfortable making contact.

Although this was not sold as a full strategy project, the website was still designed around a customer journey rather than simply arranging information into attractive pages. The order of the messaging, introduction of Dhruti, presentation of the services, use of testimonials and placement of calls to action were all considered around helping somebody understand the business and decide what they wanted to do next.

Creating the Foundation Brand

I developed the foundation visual identity for The Inner Chaos Club, including the core logo system, colour palette, typography and overall creative direction. The aim was to give Dhruti a recognisable visual foundation she could use consistently across the website and future marketing, without creating an unnecessarily complicated brand system for a business that was still developing.

The name already brings a lot of personality with it, so the identity could be more playful than the kind of branding often seen around coaching and wellbeing. At the same time, it needed enough structure to make the business feel established and trustworthy, particularly because potential clients may be discussing personal experiences around ADHD, burnout, identity and everyday overwhelm.

Giving the Brand Its Own Personality

The Inner Chaos Club needed to sound like a real person understood the situations its audience was dealing with, because generic productivity language would have completely missed the point of the business. The site makes room for humour and recognisable ADHD experiences while still explaining the coaching clearly, giving people a chance to see themselves in the messaging before they are asked to consider a service.

That approach also helped separate the business from more traditional coaching language centred around simply becoming more productive or disciplined. The wider message is about understanding how somebody works and finding approaches that are more realistic for them, which gave the brand a much stronger personality to build around.

Structuring the Website Around the Visitor

The website was structured around what somebody is likely to need when they first discover The Inner Chaos Club, particularly if they arrive already feeling overwhelmed and are not completely sure what kind of support they need. The opening messaging helps them recognise the experiences the business works with, then introduces Dhruti, the coaching options and the different ways they can take the next step.

The site gradually moves from recognition into more practical information, which means visitors are not immediately presented with a wall of service descriptions before they have any idea whether the business understands them. Testimonials, founder information and calls to action are then introduced throughout the journey, helping the website build trust as somebody moves through it.

Presenting the Coaching Offers

The business includes several different ways to work with Dhruti, so the website needed to make those options easier to understand without making the visitor decipher the differences for themselves. Offers such as ADHD Life Coaching, ADHD at Work and The Life Audit can each speak to slightly different needs, while still clearly belonging to the same wider approach.

I structured the service information around what somebody may be trying to solve or understand, giving each offer enough context to make sense before asking somebody to book. This also gives Dhruti room to develop and introduce other offers over time, without having to rebuild the entire website every time the business changes.

Building Trust Around Dhruti

Choosing a coach is incredibly personal, so the website needed to give people enough of Dhruti to understand who they would actually be working with. Her experience, approach and perspective are woven into the site alongside the service information, which means the trust building is happening throughout the customer journey rather than being left entirely to one biography page.

Client feedback plays an important role in that too, because detailed testimonials can show what the experience of working with Dhruti actually feels like. That gives somebody considering coaching more useful evidence than a vague recommendation, particularly when they may already be nervous about investing in support or unsure whether coaching will suit them.

Creating the Initial Website Copy

I wrote the initial website copy and messaging structure around the customer journey, giving the pages a clear starting point and helping the different offers sit together under one wider message. The copy was designed to feel conversational and human while still making the practical information easy to understand, which suited a brand dealing with personal subjects without wanting to sound clinical.

Dhruti then added to and adapted parts of the wording herself before launch, bringing more of her own voice and experiences into the finished version. The live website therefore reflects the structure and initial messaging I developed alongside Dhruti's own additions, which makes sense for a founder led coaching business where somebody ultimately needs to hear the person they may be working with.

Creating Clear Routes to Take Action

The website needed several ways for somebody to move forward because not everyone arriving will be ready to commit to coaching immediately. Clear routes towards the individual services and introductory conversations give people a practical next step, while allowing them to spend time reading first if they need more reassurance.

Calls to action were placed around relevant information instead of relying on one booking button to do all the work, which makes the journey feel less abrupt for somebody exploring coaching for the first time. Visitors can understand more about Dhruti, the support and the experiences of previous clients before deciding what level of contact feels comfortable.

Making Space for People Who Are Not Ready to Book

The website also needed to work for people who recognise themselves in the brand but are not currently ready to become a client, so I built in space for ongoing content and email connection. The Join the Club email signup fits naturally with The Inner Chaos Club name, while giving Dhruti a way to stay in contact with people outside social media.

The blog creates another route into the business and gives Dhruti room to explore ADHD, neurodivergence and the experiences surrounding them in more depth. Together, these areas allow the website to grow beyond static coaching pages, while giving somebody several opportunities to become familiar with the business before they ever consider booking.

Designing the Website Around the Identity

I carried the foundation identity throughout the website, using the brand elements consistently so the digital experience felt recognisably part of The Inner Chaos Club rather than a generic coaching site with a logo dropped into the header. The layouts needed enough personality to support the tone of the business, while still making longer pieces of copy and service information comfortable to read.

That balance was especially important here because the audience may already be dealing with overwhelm, so adding visual chaos for the sake of the brand name would have been a slightly terrible idea. The personality comes through in the identity, messaging and details, while the underlying website structure stays clear enough for somebody to actually use.

Building Around a Founder Led Business

The site was also designed with enough flexibility for Dhruti's own ideas and areas of interest to become a bigger part of The Inner Chaos Club over time. Her work touches on areas including late discovered neurodivergence, identity, burnout, executive functioning and the relationship between neurodivergence and wider life experiences, so the business needed room to talk about more than a fixed set of coaching packages.

That flexibility means the visual identity and website can continue supporting the business as Dhruti develops new offers, writes more content and explores different conversations within neurodivergence. The foundation gives those ideas somewhere consistent to live, without locking The Inner Chaos Club into exactly what it looked like when the first version launched.

The Outcome

The Inner Chaos Club came away with a complete foundation brand and website that gave Dhruti a recognisable home for the business, while making the coaching easier for potential clients to understand. The visual identity established the personality of the brand and the website turned that into a practical experience, giving visitors space to recognise themselves in the messaging, meet Dhruti, explore the support available and decide what they want to do next.

The website also created room for the business to grow through new services, blog content, email and Dhruti's own evolving ideas, which means the original build was not dependent on one fixed offer. The founder led structure allows her voice and lived experience to continue shaping the business, while the foundation identity keeps everything feeling connected as that happens.

This project came from an earlier stage of my own services, before I introduced the deeper standalone strategy work I offer now, but many of the decisions behind the finished website were still strategic. The page structure, service presentation, founder visibility, testimonials, messaging flow and routes towards taking action were all considered around how somebody would experience The Inner Chaos Club, giving Dhruti a foundation she could continue building on instead of simply handing over a logo and a collection of web pages.
