If you are not sure which service is right for you, start with a Clarity Service. For £60 you get a proper, honest assessment of where things are and a clear recommendation for your next step, whether that is your website, your brand, or your social media. You can book it by visiting the services page, or just send me a message and we will get it arranged. Think of it as figuring out the plan before committing to the project.
You can book this on my services page.(/creative-services)
Small businesses and solopreneurs, mainly. I also run an inclusive business and am a neurodivergent business owner myself, which means I understand that people work differently and I am happy to be flexible if you have specific needs. Just let me know and we will figure out what works for you.
I spent several years working in agencies and freelancing on behalf of agencies before going out on my own. I now run Hi This Is Bry full time, working directly with my own clients across branding, websites, and social media. Along the way I have picked up award recognitions and press features, which is lovely, but honestly the thing I am most proud of is the work itself.
Not in the traditional sense! I am proudly a one woman band and I value working closely with my clients throughout every project. If you need anything beyond what I offer, I have a broad network of fellow service providers I can refer you to so you are never left stuck.
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. I am not available evenings or weekends except in exceptional circumstances. I will always let you know in advance if I am taking time off.
Start with the enquiry form on my services page.(/creative-services) Once you submit it, I will get back to you within one working day to arrange a Google Meet call. On that call we talk through your business and your goals, and afterwards I send over a document that explains the process in more detail. If you are happy to go ahead, I will send a short contract outlining the deliverables, followed by your first invoice. From there, we get started.
Yes, absolutely. I work with clients wherever you are based. For payments outside the UK I use Wise, which keeps things straightforward on both sides.
Yes, and this matters a lot to me. Every logo, illustration, and piece of branded artwork I produce is 100% human-made. This is not just a preference, it is a practical necessity: anything you want to trademark or use commercially needs to be created by a human, and that is exactly what you get.
For stock photography I do my best to source images from human photographers wherever possible.
My stance on AI is that it is a complicated subject and one I take seriously. It is embedded in a lot of tools at this point, including ones like Photoshop, so it would be dishonest to claim I never encounter it.
But here is how I actually use it:
The only time an AI-generated asset might come into a project is if we need a conceptual mockup to see how a design looks on something like a piece of packaging. Even then, I always look for a human-made mockup first and only consider an AI one if nothing suitable exists. And if that situation ever arises, I will always check with you before using it.
Similarly, I may occasionally use Photoshop tools to do things like expand a background on a photo, but that is a tool-level edit, not AI-generated content.
What I do not do: use AI to generate logos, illustrations, or layouts. Logos and illustrations need to be human-made full stop.
And website layouts built by AI tend to be generic and unstrategic, which is the opposite of what you are paying for. Every website I build is constructed with deliberate decisions behind every element.
Yes! I offer free mentoring to anyone under the age of 25 who is interested in breaking into the creative industry or wants to explore being self-employed.
Sessions are once a month with check-ins over email in between. If that sounds like something you or someone you know would benefit from, get in touch.
This is subject to availability and works on a first come first served basis.
I work on a first come, first served basis and keep a small number of ongoing client relationships so I have the availability to take on new projects. That said, availability does move quickly, so if you have a project in mind it is always worth enquiring sooner rather than later to avoid a wait.
Yes I do! If you need something custom, use the enquiry form at the bottom of my services page (/creative-services)and I will get back to you with a custom quote.
It depends on the service. You will receive a clear timeframe after your consultation so you know exactly what to expect. If you have an urgent request, I ask for at least 24 hours notice so I can plan accordingly.
Yes. For larger projects, you can split into two payments: 50% when the project kicks off and 50% on completion. Smaller projects may require full upfront payments. Payment is handled via invoice for UK clients, and via Wise for anyone outside the UK.
Usually two stages of reasonable amends per project. These will be clearly outlined before we begin so there are no surprises. Additional rounds outside of this are quoted separately.
Absolutely. You will just need to have everything ready to go: your logo files, illustrations, colours, fonts, and anything else that makes up your brand identity, sent over via WeTransfer so I can work with them. The more complete your brand files are, the smoother the process will be.
I build marketing brochure websites on Wix using the classic editor. It is a professional, reliable platform that is genuinely easy for you to take control of once your site is handed over, you can update text, swap images, and make small changes yourself without needing anyone on speed dial. For most small businesses and solopreneurs, it covers everything you need and more.
I do not offer more complex builds, but if you are not sure whether your project is the right fit, we can always talk it through before committing to anything.
If your existing developer controls both of these, you will need to ask them to move your domain into an account you have access to. Before doing anything, take screenshots of your site and save all the content you want to keep.
Once that is sorted, you will need to set up your Wix account, buy a subscription, and connect your domain. From there I can collaborate on your site, everything can be rebuilt in Wix, and you will have full access to it going forward.
If you would like to build a newsletter and add a signup form to your site, I recommend MailerLite. It has a free tier, it is very user friendly, and it integrates nicely with Wix.
Before we can do anything on my end though, you will need to have a few things in place yourself. You will need a business email address that matches your website domain, for example, hello@yourbusiness.com.(mailto:hello@yourbusiness.com) This is not optional: MailerLite will not let you send campaigns from a free email address like Gmail, and emails sent that way are likely to end up in spam.
You will then need to set up your MailerLite account and authenticate your domain within it, which connects your email and confirms to inbox providers that your newsletters are legitimate.
If you are not sure how to handle the technical side of this, I would recommend reaching out to someone technical or an IT specialist who can help you get it sorted before we begin.
I do not have the capacity to troubleshoot tech issues as I focus on the marketing, design and build side of things. Having everything properly connected before we start means we can get straight to the good stuff rather than troubleshooting in the background.
Once your account is up and running, that is where I come in. I can create your signup form in MailerLite and integrate it into your website. If you would like me to template your newsletter as well, that is available as a separate service once your setup is complete.
Website clients are offered an affordable ongoing update service if you would rather not make changes yourself. Branding clients are offered a yearly refresh at a discounted rate.
And social media clients can continue working with me through my social media packages, including things like reel editing, post design and monthly strategy support.
It is not something I offer, but honestly I think you will be better off for it! In my experience Wix is the stronger choice for solopreneurs because once your site is live, it is yours to manage. You can make updates yourself without needing a developer every time something small needs changing.
It is not something I offer any more. I used to, but over time I found the platform limiting in comparison to Wix, and I could not in good conscience keep building on it when I knew my clients would get more out of Wix. Even the classic editor offers more flexibility than Squarespace.
That said, if you are already on Squarespace and want some advice on making the most of what you have got, I am always happy to help with that.
Domain and tech support falls outside of what I do, as my focus is on the marketing, design and build side of things. If you are having trouble with your domain, your domain provider will be your best port of call, or an IT specialist who can help get it sorted.
I can set the pages up for you, add a basic cookies banner, and advise generally on best practice and what to include. What I cannot do is write the legal content itself. These are legal documents and it is your responsibility as a business owner to make sure you are compliant, so I would always recommend seeking proper legal advice for that side of things.
I bake in some light SEO work when building websites to give you a solid foundation, but ongoing SEO strategy is a big, specialist undertaking and not something I have the capacity to offer. If that is something you need, I can refer you to someone in my network who does it well.
What I can help with is content writing and making your blogs more appealing to your target audience. This is available on request, so just mention it when you enquire.
Not in the traditional sense. I do not access client accounts directly because I think your privacy matters and it is important that you stay in control of your own platforms. That said, for select clients I may help with posting if you have a content scheduler you can give me access to. If that is something you are interested in, mention it when you enquire.
No, paid advertising is not something I offer. However, I can help with the creative side of things, which does a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to ad performance. If you are interested in that, raise it as a custom request and we can chat about what would be useful.
This is not something I offer as it involves handling private personal information. You will need to have an existing account set up before we can work together on your social media.
This is not something I offer. Setting up payment systems involves handling sensitive personal and financial information, and I do not advise on how you should take payments, that is a decision for you and your accountant or financial advisor.
If you want a payment portal integrated into your website, you will need to set it up yourself and provide me with the links. You will also need to connect and configure payments within Wix yourself. Once everything is in place on your end, I can integrate it into your site.
