What happens in a £60 brand, website and social media consultation? (Approx. $80).

Hi, I’m Bry, founder of Hi This Is Bry. I’m a multi award winning Creative Strategist and Brand Consultant helping people build award worthy brands and make them visible. I write about branding, marketing, visibility and consumer behaviour, breaking down why recognisable brands succeed, why people buy and what you can apply to what you’re building.

Sometimes running a small business can be incredibly frustrating, especially when you know something isn't working but can't quite identify what the problem is. Maybe your social media posts are getting ignored, your website is receiving visitors but nobody is enquiring, or you're struggling to attract customers who are willing to pay what your services are worth.

The difficulty is that there are so many different things that could be affecting your results, and trying to figure everything out yourself can become completely overwhelming. You might spend weeks changing your content, adjusting your website or questioning your branding without knowing whether any of those things are actually causing the problem.

That's exactly why I created my £60 Visibility Consultation, a focused, one-hour brand, website and social media consultation for small businesses and solopreneurs who need help figuring out what to do next. Rather than committing to a large project or paying for an extensive strategy, we can sit down together, look at what's happening within your business and work towards identifying the thing that's most worth addressing first.

What is a Visibility Consultation?

A Visibility Consultation is essentially a diagnostic session for your business, where we explore the problem you're experiencing, consider what might be contributing to it and discuss practical ways to move forward. The aim is to identify where your time and attention could be most useful, rather than throwing lots of unrelated marketing advice at you.

I work across brand strategy, website development, social media and marketing, which means I can look at how these different areas connect rather than assuming the problem is automatically your Instagram content or the colours you've chosen for your website.

For example, somebody might believe their social media isn't generating sales because their posts aren't interesting enough, when the bigger issue is that potential customers don't understand what they actually offer. Another business might be attracting plenty of website visitors but making it unnecessarily difficult for people to find their services or make an enquiry.

The idea isn't to completely rebuild your business in an hour, because we're concentrating on understanding a particular problem and what might be causing it. You're getting another experienced pair of eyes on something that's been bothering you, along with an honest professional perspective and a clearer direction.

Who is the consultation for?

I work with small business owners and solopreneurs at different stages, so the consultation can be useful whether you're developing a new business or have been trading for years. You might be wondering where to focus your limited time and budget, or you could have an established business that's struggling to attract the customers and sales you expected.

Some people come to me with a very specific question, such as why their website isn't converting visitors into enquiries, while others have noticed several things that don't seem to be working. Perhaps you're not attracting the right customers, aren't confident about your pricing or have been posting on social media for months without understanding how to turn that attention into sales.

We can use the hour to explore whichever issue is most relevant to your business and consider whether there are other factors contributing to it. Sometimes the problem isn't quite where somebody initially thought it was, which is one of the reasons having an outside perspective can be so useful.

What can we look at during a brand, website and social media consultation?

Every consultation is different because every business has different challenges, but there are several areas we can explore depending on what you're struggling with. We might spend most of the hour discussing one specific problem or look at how different parts of your branding, website and marketing could be influencing one another.

Branding and attracting the right customers

Sometimes your business has developed considerably, but the branding and messaging haven't kept up. We can look at whether your visual identity feels credible, whether your services are being communicated clearly and whether the business is presenting itself appropriately for the customers you want to attract.

That might involve identifying small changes to your typography, colours, imagery or marketing materials that could make the business feel more consistent and professional. We can also discuss your positioning, how you're demonstrating your expertise and whether there are gaps between what you're charging and the value you're communicating.

If you're uncertain which parts of your brand deserve attention first, I can help you identify what might be worth prioritising. That could mean refining something you already have rather than investing in an entirely new identity, particularly when the foundations of your existing branding are already working well.

Website problems and converting visitors into enquiries

If your website is receiving attention but not bringing in customers, we can look at how somebody actually experiences it and whether anything might be getting in the way of an enquiry or purchase.

That could involve reviewing whether your services are easy to understand, whether important information is difficult to find, how the website works on mobile and whether the journey towards contacting you feels straightforward.

Sometimes a relatively small change can make information much clearer, such as improving a confusing section, making an enquiry button more visible or reorganising the order in which customers encounter certain details. We can also discuss whether the website is communicating enough credibility through examples of your work, reviews and other evidence of your experience.

Social media content, engagement and sales

If you're posting consistently but struggling to attract customers, we can explore what your content is communicating and whether it's reaching the right people.

Perhaps your posts are getting engagement but aren't attracting anybody who would actually buy from you, or you're creating useful educational content without showing potential customers how they can work with you.

We can discuss your content topics, messaging, calls to action and how you're demonstrating expertise, as well as ways to make your content more recognisable and your sales messaging feel more natural.

If you're unsure whether Instagram, LinkedIn or TikTok is worth your time, we can also explore how those platforms fit your audience and what you realistically have the capacity to maintain. The focus is on understanding what could be holding your marketing back, rather than automatically assuming that posting more frequently is the answer.

Building credibility, authority and recognition

This is another area I love helping businesses with, because visibility isn't just about getting more people to see your content. It's also about giving those people reasons to trust you, remember you and feel confident considering your services.

We can discuss how you're currently demonstrating your expertise, including customer reviews, testimonials, case studies, awards, press features and your professional experience. If those things aren't particularly visible, we can look at ways to bring them into your branding, website and marketing so potential customers have more evidence of what you do.

If you're thinking about entering business awards, I can help you consider whether you're ready, which opportunities might be relevant and what you should look for before spending time on an application.

And if you've already won an award or received a press feature, we can explore what you could actually do with that recognition. There are often more opportunities to make use of an achievement than simply sharing an announcement on Instagram and moving on, particularly when it comes to building credibility and giving customers additional reasons to trust your business.

What happens during the one-hour consultation?

We start with an open conversation about your business and whatever has been bothering you, and I'll ask questions to understand what you're trying to achieve, what you've already tried and what you feel isn't working.

Depending on the issue, we might look through your website, discuss your branding, review your social media or explore how you're currently marketing your services. We'll focus on the areas most relevant to your problem rather than trying to rush through every aspect of your business, because I'd much rather give you useful advice about something specific than overwhelm you with fifty unrelated suggestions.

I'll give you my genuine professional opinion, including where I think your time and attention could make the biggest difference. Sometimes that means identifying something you hadn't considered, while other times it might involve reassuring you that part of what you're already doing is working and helping you understand what to focus on next.

I want the conversation to feel practical, relaxed and honest, with enough flexibility for us to explore things as they come up rather than working through a rigid script.

Are Visibility Consultations private or recorded?

My consultations are private and I don't record our sessions, because I want people to feel comfortable having an open conversation about their businesses without worrying that everything they say is being captured.

I'm particularly cautious about privacy and the increasing use of AI recording and transcription tools in business meetings, and I don't believe those tools are necessary for us to have a useful discussion.

You should feel comfortable talking about the things that aren't working, asking questions you're unsure about and explaining situations that might be difficult to discuss with somebody who is already involved in the business. We can have a normal conversation without recording it, and I'll send you follow-up notes afterwards so you have something useful to refer back to.

What will I leave the consultation with?

My goal is for you to finish the hour with a clearer understanding of what might be causing your problem and one clear next step to focus on, rather than leaving with an enormous list of things you suddenly feel pressured to fix.

I always want to give people something they can try themselves without spending any more money, because I understand that small business owners don't necessarily have the budget to outsource every problem they encounter.

That might mean adjusting how you explain a service, making a change to your website, improving the way you demonstrate your expertise or approaching your social media content differently. Whatever we discuss, I want you to come away with something practical that feels achievable and relevant to what you're trying to accomplish.

If I think one of my services could help you with something more substantial, I'm happy to explain what I'd recommend and why, and we can also discuss a custom quote if you have a very specific requirement that doesn't fit neatly into one of my existing packages.

However, there's absolutely no obligation to purchase anything else, and I don't want the consultation to feel like an hour-long sales pitch. The £60 consultation is a service in its own right, so you're paying for my time, experience and professional perspective whether you decide to implement the advice yourself or explore further support later.

What do clients say about working with me?

Sometimes the most useful part of a consultation is simply having somebody outside your business help you see the situation more clearly, particularly when you've spent so long thinking about the same problem that you've started questioning absolutely everything.

Here's what Sofaya, founder of Weird Business Bestie, had to say after a consultation with me:

Bry is such a breath of fresh air! I had a consultation with her about the direction of my business and she really helped me move through a lot of the feelings I was having, to realise I had everything I needed to get going with the new! A session full of reassurance, her genuine opinion and excitement for what’s to come. Thank you!

I think that captures something I really want people to understand about these sessions, because not every business problem requires an enormous new strategy or an expensive investment. Sometimes an honest conversation can help somebody recognise what they already have, understand what's been holding them back and feel more confident about the direction they're taking.

FAQs about my £60 Visibility Consultation

Is this a branding, website or social media consultation? It can be any of those things, depending on what you're struggling with. My work covers brand strategy, websites, social media and marketing, so we can focus on one specific area or explore how several parts of your business might be affecting one another.

Can you help if I'm not getting any sales? Yes, we can explore potential reasons why your branding, website or marketing might not be generating enquiries or sales. I can't promise that one conversation will solve every issue, but we can look at possible obstacles and identify a practical next step.

Do I need an established business to book? Not at all, because the consultation is suitable for new businesses, solopreneurs and established small businesses alike. You can also book if you're still developing your ideas or aren't sure what you should prioritise before launching.

Will I receive notes after the consultation? Yes, I'll send follow-up notes after our conversation so you can refer back to what we've discussed and the next steps we've identified. The sessions themselves are private and aren't recorded, so we can talk openly without using recording or AI transcription tools.

Do I have to purchase another service afterwards? Absolutely not, and I'll always aim to give you something useful that you can work on yourself. Any additional services are entirely optional, although I'm happy to discuss a suitable package or custom quote if you decide you'd like further support.

How much does the consultation cost? My Visibility Consultation costs £60 for one hour, approximately $80 USD, and is paid upfront when booking. The consultation is a standalone service, so you don't need to commit to a larger package to access it.
