What's included in a £650 Wix Website Build for small businesses? (Approx. $860).

Hi, I’m Bry, founder of Hi This Is Bry. I’m a multi award winning Creative Strategist and Brand Consultant helping people build award worthy brands and make them visible. I write about branding, marketing, visibility and consumer behaviour, breaking down why recognisable brands succeed, why people buy and what you can apply to what you’re building.

If you're running a small business, there's a good chance you've already spent plenty of time finding customers through social media, recommendations, networking or word of mouth. You might have built a perfectly healthy client base without ever needing a particularly sophisticated website, but eventually you reach a point where having somewhere professional to send people becomes increasingly useful.

Perhaps potential customers are constantly asking the same questions about your services, you're sending people several different links to explain what you offer or you're relying on an Instagram profile to communicate everything about your business.

The problem isn't necessarily that you need more people to discover you. Sometimes you already have an audience and a reliable way of attracting customers, but you need a website that makes it easier for those people to understand your services, trust your business and take the next step.

That's exactly why I offer my £650 Wix Website Build, a completely custom-designed website for small businesses that already have a clear brand, established services and an existing sales pipeline.

I'll design and write the content for five core website pages, creating a professional home for your business without relying on premade website templates or generative AI. The project takes six weeks and is divided into two payments of £325.

Who is my £650 Wix Website Build for?

This package is designed for established small businesses and solopreneurs who already have a reasonably clear brand identity, know what they're selling and have an existing way of attracting customers.

You might receive enquiries through Instagram, LinkedIn, networking events, recommendations or existing professional relationships, but find that you don't have one central place to explain your business properly.

For example, imagine somebody recommends your services to a friend. That person might be interested, but before contacting you, they want to understand what you actually offer, how much experience you have, whether you're suitable for their needs and what they should do next.

If all that information is scattered across social media posts, direct messages and old promotional materials, they're having to do considerably more work than necessary.

A professional website gives you somewhere to bring those things together, so people who are already interested in your business can learn more and decide whether they'd like to work with you. This package is particularly suitable when you don't currently need an extensive blogging or search content strategy because your existing marketing is already bringing people into your business.

Why does an established small business need a website?

I think it's easy to assume that the main purpose of a business website is to appear on Google and attract new customers, but that isn't always the role a website needs to play. Sometimes its most important job is supporting the customers you're already reaching elsewhere.

For example, somebody might discover your business through an Instagram Reel, become interested in your services and visit your website to find out more. They could be looking for prices, examples of your work, answers to common questions or reassurance that you're an established and trustworthy business.

Your website gives them somewhere to explore those things without needing to send you a message just to understand the basics.

It's also a useful place to explain your services in more detail than you might reasonably fit into a social media caption, showcase your experience and help customers understand what makes your business different. And unlike relying entirely on a social media profile, your website gives you a central space where you can organise information around what customers need rather than the format of a particular platform.

That doesn't mean a website automatically generates sales, but it can make the journey between somebody discovering your business and deciding to contact you considerably more straightforward.

What's included in my £650 Wix Website Build?

The package includes a custom Wix website with five core pages, all written and designed specifically for your business.

A completely custom website design

I design my client websites using Wix Classic Editor, which gives me the flexibility to create layouts around your brand rather than starting with a premade website template.

I also don't use generative AI to produce the website design or written content, because I want the finished result to reflect your actual business, your customers and the information they need. That means considering your existing brand identity, colours, typography, imagery and the overall personality you want to communicate.

For some businesses, a clean and straightforward layout makes the most sense, particularly when customers need to find technical information or compare different services. For others, there may be more room to introduce expressive visual elements, distinctive layouts or a stronger sense of personality.

The important thing is that the design supports your business rather than simply following whichever website trends happen to be popular. I'll also consider how the pages work across desktop and mobile, because somebody discovering your business through Instagram is quite likely to visit your website on their phone.

I want visitors to be able to understand what you offer, find the relevant information and move towards making an enquiry without having to work their way through a confusing layout.

Website copywriting included

Something I think is particularly valuable about this package is that you don't have to write all five pages yourself. I'll write the website copy based on the information we discuss about your business, including your services, audience, experience and what you want customers to understand.

You might already have useful information written down, or perhaps you find it easier to explain what you do through a conversation or a few bullet points.

That's absolutely fine, because part of my job is helping turn that information into clear, professional website copy that makes sense to somebody who isn't already familiar with your business. I'll consider how to introduce your services, which information needs to appear first, where a little more explanation would be helpful and how to guide people towards contacting you.

I also want the finished copy to sound appropriate for your business, because professional website writing shouldn't mean stripping out all your personality or filling every page with complicated marketing language. The aim is to make your services easier to understand and help potential customers recognise whether you're the right person to work with.

Five core website pages

The package includes five core pages: Home, About, Services, FAQs and Contact.

These pages work together to introduce your business, explain what you offer, demonstrate your credibility and help customers take the next step.

Home page

Your homepage is often the first place somebody lands when they visit your website, so it needs to communicate the important things relatively quickly.

I'll consider how to introduce your business, explain what you offer and guide visitors towards the information they're most likely to need.

That might include introducing your main services, highlighting relevant experience or customer feedback, and creating clear links to the pages where people can learn more.

I want somebody visiting your homepage to understand what your business does without having to search through several paragraphs just to find the answer.

About page

Your About page gives customers an opportunity to understand the person or business behind the services.

This can be particularly important for small businesses because people often want to know who they're buying from, what experience they have and why they approach their work in a particular way. I'll help communicate your background, experience, personality and what makes your business worth considering.

That doesn't mean your About page needs to contain your entire life story, because the information should still be relevant to the people you're hoping to attract. Instead, we'll focus on what helps visitors understand your expertise, values and the reasons they might enjoy working with you.

Services page

Your Services page is where we explain what customers can actually purchase from you. I'll organise the information so visitors can understand the available services, what they involve and which options might be suitable for their needs. Depending on your business, that might involve presenting several different services, explaining your process or helping people understand the differences between particular packages.

I also pay attention to the questions somebody might have before making an enquiry, because unclear service descriptions can lead to unnecessary back-and-forth or cause people to leave without contacting you. The goal is to make the information useful and straightforward while giving interested visitors a clear route towards getting in touch.

FAQs page

I think a useful FAQs page is particularly valuable for small businesses, because it gives you an opportunity to answer common questions before somebody needs to contact you.

For example, customers might want to understand your process, availability, location, payment arrangements or what happens after they make an enquiry.

The specific questions will depend on your business, but I'll consider which information would genuinely help potential customers feel more confident about taking the next step. It can also save you time when you're regularly answering similar enquiries, because you'll have a dedicated page explaining those details.

Contact page

Your Contact page should make it easy for somebody to understand how to get in touch and what information you need from them. I'll consider how the page fits into the wider customer journey, particularly whether visitors have been given enough information to feel comfortable making an enquiry.

For some businesses, that might mean a straightforward contact form, while others may need a little more explanation about the enquiry process or what happens after somebody gets in touch. The main thing is that interested customers shouldn't have to work particularly hard to find out how to contact you.

General guidance for your website policy pages

The package also includes general guidance around the policy pages your website may need, such as privacy and cookie information. These pages are particularly important when your website collects personal information through contact forms, analytics or other tools.

I'll help you understand why relevant policies matter and the kinds of information you may need to consider, but I don't provide bespoke legal documents or legal compliance advice.

Your business is responsible for ensuring its policies accurately reflect how it operates and meets any applicable legal requirements, with professional legal advice sought where necessary.

How do you make a website more likely to generate enquiries?

A website can look beautiful and still be frustrating to use, particularly when visitors struggle to understand what a business offers or can't find the information they need. That's why I consider the customer journey when planning the website, rather than treating each page as a separate design.

Your customer journey is simply the route somebody takes from arriving on your website to deciding whether to enquire or purchase. For example, somebody might arrive on your homepage after being recommended your business, visit your Services page to see what you offer and then look at your About or FAQs page before deciding to contact you.

I'll consider how those pages connect, where the important information appears and whether the next step feels straightforward. That might involve making service descriptions clearer, placing enquiry links where people are most likely to need them or ensuring important information isn't hidden beneath unnecessary content.

I also pay attention to credibility, because testimonials, professional experience, relevant qualifications, awards and examples of your work can help people feel more confident about the business they're considering.

Of course, the exact approach depends on your audience and what you're selling, but the principle is the same: your website should help customers understand your business and make it easier for them to take action.

Why do I build websites using Wix?

I use Wix Classic Editor because it gives me the flexibility to design custom websites while providing business owners with a platform they can continue using themselves.

I think this is particularly important for small businesses, because you may eventually want to update your prices, change a service description, introduce a new team member or replace an image without needing to commission an entirely new website. Wix also provides built-in tools for managing pages and website settings, including features that can support search engine visibility. The platform itself doesn't guarantee Google rankings or sales, but it provides a practical foundation for a professional business website. I also want clients to retain control of their own website accounts, domains and subscription payments.

I'll provide guidance where needed, but you'll be responsible for connecting and paying for your own Wix premium plan and domain arrangements, rather than having those services registered or paid for through my business. That way, you retain direct control over the services your website relies on.

What's the difference between a standard Wix Website Build and a Strategic Wix Website Build?

This is probably the most important distinction between my two website design packages, because they're designed to solve slightly different business problems.

My £650 Wix Website Build is primarily intended for established businesses that already have an audience, customers or a working sales pipeline.

You might be generating enquiries through recommendations, Instagram, LinkedIn or networking, and you need a professional website where those interested customers can find out more about you.

The package provides five custom-designed pages with all the copy included, giving your business a central hub to support the marketing and customer relationships you've already developed. My £945 Strategic Wix Website Build includes that same custom website foundation, but adds a blog setup and a more detailed SEO content strategy.

It's intended for businesses that would benefit from attracting additional relevant visitors through Google, particularly when they want their website to help them become established and build authority within their niche.

With the strategic package, I'll provide an explanation of how to create search-friendly and sales-focused content, alongside a content plan, keyword bank and detailed blog template.

I'll write the guidance in accessible language so you can create articles yourself or use the materials to brief somebody else, such as a virtual assistant.

This additional planning helps you understand what potential customers might be searching for, which subjects could be worth writing about and how your content can support the journey towards making an enquiry or sale.

The strategic package takes eight weeks and costs £945, divided into three payments of £315. The standard build takes six weeks and costs £650, divided into two payments of £325.

If your business already attracts the customers it needs and simply wants a professional website to support those enquiries, you may not need the additional blogging strategy straight away.

I think it's important to choose the service that reflects what your business actually needs, rather than automatically investing in features you don't currently have a plan to use.

What happens during the six-week website design process?

We begin by discussing your business, your existing branding, the services you offer and what you want your website to achieve. I'll need to understand how people currently discover your business and what they tend to look for before making an enquiry, because that helps inform how the website should be organised.

We'll also discuss the visual direction and the information needed for the five core pages, including any existing branding, imagery or content that should be considered.

From there, I'll develop the custom website design and write the copy, bringing everything together into a consistent experience. We'll review the work and discuss any agreed refinements before the website is ready for handover.

The overall project takes approximately six weeks, with the £650 investment divided into two equal payments of £325. Because I build using Wix, you'll also have the ability to manage and update your website through your own account once the project is complete.

FAQs about my Wix Website Build

How much does a Wix website cost for a small business? My custom Wix Website Build costs £650, approximately $860, and includes five core website pages with all the copywriting and design included. The project takes six weeks and is divided into two payments of £325.

What pages are included in the £650 Wix Website Build? The package includes Home, About, Services, FAQs and Contact, alongside general guidance around relevant website policy pages. Additional pages or more complex functionality can be discussed separately if your business requires them.

Do I need to write my own website content? No, I'll write the copy for the five agreed pages using the information you provide about your business, audience, services and experience. You'll have an opportunity to make sure the wording represents your business appropriately.

Do you use Wix website templates? No, I create completely custom website designs using Wix Classic Editor rather than building the site from a premade design template. I also don't use generative AI to create the design or written content.

Is Wix suitable for a professional business website? Yes, Wix can be a useful platform for small businesses that want a professional website with the flexibility to manage their own content. I use Wix Classic Editor because it supports custom designs while allowing clients to retain control of their website.

Will my website work on mobile phones? Mobile presentation is an important part of my design process, particularly because many visitors discover small businesses through social media and then visit their websites on their phones. I'll consider how the layout, written content and navigation work across desktop and mobile.

Will you help make my website generate more enquiries? I'll consider how the copy, page structure, credibility signals and calls to action support your customer journey. These decisions can help reduce confusion and make enquiries more straightforward, although no website can guarantee a specific level of sales.

Does the £650 package include SEO and blogging? Wix includes tools that can support search engine visibility, but this package doesn't include the dedicated blog setup, keyword bank, content plan or detailed SEO blogging guidance available within my £945 Strategic Wix Website Build. The standard package is designed primarily to support businesses with an existing sales pipeline.

Do I need to pay for Wix separately? Yes, any applicable Wix premium subscription, domain registration or other third-party services are separate from my design fee. You'll retain control of your own account and payment arrangements, with guidance available where needed.

How long does it take to build my website? The standard Wix Website Build takes approximately six weeks, with time allocated for discussing your business, creating the design, writing the copy and reviewing the agreed pages.

Should I choose the £650 or £945 website package? If you already attract customers through social media, referrals or other channels and need a professional website to support those enquiries, the £650 package may be sufficient. If you want to develop a blog and SEO content strategy to attract additional visitors through search, the £945 Strategic Wix Website Build includes that extra planning and guidance.
