As part of a collaboration with a design company based in the UK, I was brought in to review and refine the branding for a new AI-driven healthcare platform. The company was in the early stages of development and wanted to ensure their brand reflected the professionalism, credibility and clarity required in the medical technology space.

This project was an early opportunity for me to take the lead on brand strategy within a specialist sector.

My Role
While I cannot share specific details due to a signed NDA, my role involved delivering a full strategic audit of the brand-in-progress.
I focused on clarity, alignment and long-term positioning, reviewing the core messaging, visual consistency, tone of voice, and how the brand would be received in a sensitive, high-trust industry.
I also assessed sector alignment and opportunities to embed environmental and social values. The outcome was a comprehensive report with clear, actionable recommendations across messaging, visuals, tone and overall strategic direction.

The outcome
The audit gave the company a clear roadmap to move forward with confidence. It helped refine how the platform communicated with its audience and ensured that the brand felt trustworthy, relevant and well-positioned within its sector.

My feedback helped the internal team make decisions about future design and marketing efforts, and brought clarity to areas that needed realignment. The brand was able to move into its next stage with a stronger foundation and a clearer sense of purpose.
Working in a highly regulated space showed me how important it is for even the most technical innovations to be communicated with warmth and intention.

It also reminded me that good brand strategy is not about surface-level polish. It is about connecting the product, the message and the mission in a way that feels cohesive and considered.
