CASE STUDY
Event poster design for a city-wide clothing swap in Miami
Client: Karma Trade
Focus: Poster and illustration
THE BRIEF
Karma Trade is a platform championing sustainable fashion and community-driven clothing swaps. For Earth Month, they organised a city-wide swap event in Miami and needed a poster that communicated the event's purpose clearly and attracted attention across both digital and print formats, bold, accessible and rooted in eco-conscious messaging.
THE APPROACH
I designed the lead event poster using a minimal, high-contrast layout built to scale seamlessly across flyers, posters and social media. The design featured custom vector illustrations representing the swap experience and city setting, alongside iconography reinforcing themes of sustainability and community action.
THE OUTCOME
The final design gave Karma Trade a clear, cohesive asset that worked at multiple sizes without losing impact. The illustration style added approachability while supporting a movement rooted in advocacy, helping the campaign spread organically across the city and online.
