Karma Trade is a platform championing sustainable fashion and community-driven clothing swaps. For Earth Month, they organised a city-wide clothing swap event in Miami and needed a poster to promote it. The aim was to communicate the event’s purpose clearly and attract attention in both digital and print formats.

The brief was to keep the visuals bold and accessible, using clean illustration to reflect the community focus and eco-conscious messaging.

My Role
I designed the lead event poster for the city-wide clothing swap with a minimal, high-contrast layout that was easy to reproduce across formats.
The design featured custom vector illustrations to represent the swap experience and city setting, along with iconography and visual cues that reinforced the themes of sustainability and community action.
The final layout was built to scale seamlessly for use across flyers, posters and social media. The overall tone was clear and action-oriented, encouraging locals to get involved and rethink their relationship with fashion.

The outcome
The final design gave Karma Trade a clear, cohesive asset to promote the swap across the city and online. The layout was designed to work at multiple sizes without losing impact, making it easy for the campaign to spread organically. The illustration style added approachability while still supporting a movement rooted in advocacy.
