Creating a set of fantasy illustrations for a theme park
Client: Wyvernwood (via This is Fever)
Note: This work was completed under employment at This is Fever
Focus: Character design, world-building illustration, sketching, vector illustration, and creative asset development
Wyvernwood is an immersive story-led park experience created for families and children. The project required a distinct and cohesive illustrated world that could inspire curiosity, spark imagination and lay the visual foundations for an entirely new fantasy destination.

I was brought on as part of the in-house creative team to help shape this imaginative universe through a range of digital illustrations. The goal was to create engaging characters, creatures and environments that could be used across print, digital and experiential touchpoints.

My Role
This was one of my most illustration-focused roles, combining creativity, storytelling and brand development to craft an original visual world from the ground up.
I developed character designs for key fantasy figures in the Wyvernwood universe, illustrated scenic environments, buildings and world elements based on narrative prompts, and created detailed vector illustrations for print, merchandise and promotional use.
I also worked with the client to ensure the illustration style aligned with the brand tone and prepared all files for handoff across multiple formats.

The outcome
The visual identity of Wyvernwood was built with longevity and scale in mind, with each asset crafted to support a growing universe of stories, characters and experiences.

Wyvernwood successfully launched with a strong visual foundation rooted in storytelling and illustration. The assets I helped create were used across marketing materials, park signage, merchandise and on-site experiences, helping bring the fantasy to life for its audience.
This project was a great example of how design can support storytelling at scale. For brands building an immersive experience, thoughtful illustration plays a key role in world-building and audience connection.
My work at Wyvernwood reflects how visual storytelling can become a brand’s strongest asset when done with care, consistency and imagination.
