Brand and logo design for Woven Rose, a small spiritual business in Rayleigh
Bry Bird, Creative Strategist & Web Designer
Every now and then, a project comes along that feels more like alignment than work. The brand and logo design for Woven Rose, a small spiritual business based in Rayleigh, was exactly that.
From the very first call with Louise, the founder, I could tell how deeply she cared about helping others find peace and purpose. Through her Angelic Reiki, Crystal Healing and spiritual support sessions, she guides people to reconnect with calm and balance. Her brand needed to reflect that same energy, grounding yet light, gentle yet powerful.

A brand built around calm, care and connection
When Louise reached out, she described her vision as “something grounding yet full of light.” That became the anchor for the entire project.
To bring her idea to life, I explored a palette of warm earthy tones balanced by softer lavender and sand shades. These colours create a feeling of safety and warmth while still allowing the brand to feel elevated and spiritual.
The typography followed the same logic, elegant yet approachable. A serif with subtle charm gives the logo a timeless quality, while the supporting type keeps everything readable and modern across social and print.
The goal was not just to design something pretty, but to build a visual identity that truly reflected Louise’s mission to help people reconnect with themselves and find balance in their everyday lives.
Custom illustration and human-made details
One of the most distinctive parts of the Woven Rose brand is its custom illustration suite. I wanted the visuals to feel intentional, organic and free of digital stiffness.
All the illustrations were human made (drawn by me) with no AI or stock assets involved. This makes the brand completely unique and allows Louise to trademark her visuals or sell them as art prints without worrying about copyright or licensing restrictions.
Each figure illustration was inspired by the theme of growth and connection. The designs show women with vines and leaves woven through their forms, representing healing, self-acceptance and strength. Together, they build a story of grounding energy and inner peace, perfectly aligned with what Woven Rose stands for.

From concept to complete brand identity
The full project included:
Logo design (landscape, badge and icon versions)
Custom colour palette and typography pairing
Illustration suite for print and digital use
Mockups for future packaging and product prints
Brand direction document to guide consistency
Everything was designed to scale easily, from her social media posts to future physical products or event materials.
The Woven Rose identity now feels soulful but structured, with enough flexibility to evolve as the business grows. That balance between creativity and strategy is at the heart of all my brand work, including other wellness-focused projects like Moss & Myrrh.
The outcome
The finished brand feels calm, confident and personal. Every design choice, from the copper and amber tones to the celestial symbols, tells a story of connection and care.
Louise’s feedback said it best: the brand “finally feels like her.” She now has visuals that truly represent the purpose and heart behind her work, giving her confidence to share her message more widely online and in print.
The identity has also opened doors for her to expand her offerings, from Angelic Reiki and Crystal Healing to future workshops and group sessions, with a cohesive look and feel across all platforms.

Every element was drawn by hand, so Louise fully owns her visuals. There are no licensing limits or copyright risks, which is ideal for small businesses wanting to trademark their brand.
Can small businesses afford a full brand identity like this?
Yes. I specialise in helping small businesses on a budget build standout brands. Each project is scaled to your needs and investment.
Do you only work with wellness and spiritual businesses?
Not at all, but I do love working with purpose-driven founders who want branding that feels human, inclusive and values-led.
